Locum Occupational Therapist

About the role

Join a reputable private hospital in Toowoomba, delivering high-quality inpatient rehabilitation services. This part-time locum role is ideal for OTs seeking consistency, flexibility, and a manageable caseload while still working within a busy multidisciplinary environment.

You’ll work with post-operative orthopaedic, pelvic fracture, cardiac/surgical reconditioning clients, with an expanding neuro caseload planned for early 2025. This is a great opportunity to step into a supportive hospital setting while maintaining work–life balance.

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation to adults across ortho, cardiac & reconditioning
• Support a growing neuro caseload in early 2025
• Enjoy flexible part-time hours and a supportive private hospital team

Skills & experience

• AHPRA registration
• Rehab experience preferred
• Confidence working within a private hospital setting

Benefits

• Up to $62.53 per hour + super
• Flexible part-time hours (4 hrs/day)
• Approx. 2-month contract with potential extension
• Possible partial accommodation support
